USAA's 2012 Memorial Day Ceremony: The Courage to Persevere
Each year, USAA joins our country in commemorating the military men and women who died to protect our nation’s freedom. This Memorial Day we celebrate their courage, their fortitude, their willingness to serve. And we salute the courage of those they have left behind — family, friends, fellow soldiers. For the courage to persevere despite their sorrow, we stand together as a grateful nation and give thanks.
This year’s ceremony will include:
- Keynote speaker J.R. Martinez, Iraq war veteran and Season 13’s winner of “Dancing with the Stars.”
- Video presentation: “Smithville Heals.”
- Featured musical guests Angie Johnson and Russ Murphy.
