How Do I Buy Facebook Shares?
If you can figure this out, let me know. It’s not even sure that it is a good investment. A great many things can occur when Facebook’s Initial Public Offering (IPO) becomes available.
On Friday, the market typically opens at 9:30 am ET, but Facebook shares won’t begin trading immediately. It has been said that it could take “an hour or more — for newly listed shares to begin actively trading on the day of their public debut,” according to CNNMoney.
By Thursday night, shares will most likely get released to Facebook underwriter clients. This will allow those people holding the stock the ability to begin reselling them when the market opens Friday morning. The IPO price rate for the original buyers was set at $38 per share. Let’s see at what price point it stops by Friday afternoon.
