Battleship Contest Movie Times
Universal is offering an opportunity for active duty and reserve service members to view a sneak preview of ‘Battleship.’ Through the Eventful website, visitors were offered a chance to win an advance screening of the movie at one of their nearby bases. Voting ended on May 8th, and it appeared that Eglin AFB had the lead with over 200 votes. Josh Goldstine, President of Theatrical Marketing, Universal Pictures was quoted as saying:
These early screenings of ‘Battleship’ allow Universal an opportunity to thank our active duty and reserve service members and their families for their constant sacrifices. The spirit of the film is one of assembling the best of the best for a daunting, shared mission. We hope that by bringing together our soldiers, sailors, airmen, Marines and coast guardsmen with their families, they may enjoy a night out at the movies.
